A Note on Care, and the Stories We Carry

All things - like culture itself - bear the gentle marks of time: traces of where they have been, and what they have lived through. Our pieces are no different.
Before sharing practical guidance, we’d like to offer a perspective that reflects Selwha’s philosophy:
-
Culture does not demand delicate preservation. What matters is being, and having been - honoring a piece as it was when you first encountered it, while welcoming how it changes over time.
-
There is no need for excessive caution. Instead, treat your piece with respect and attentive care, allowing it to transform naturally, like a story unfolding.
-
The marks that appear with time are not flaws to be corrected, but traces of a narrative worth embracing.
That said, to extend the life of your piece and deepen your journey with it, here are a few mindful practices:
Daily Wear & Cleaning
-
It’s natural for your bracelet to occasionally come into contact with water or everyday dust. If needed, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and residue.
-
While occasional moisture will not cause harm, we recommend removing your piece before bathing or swimming.
-
For deeper cleaning, avoid soaking. Instead, lightly dampen a soft cloth, wipe gently, and allow the piece to dry completely before storing.
When Not Wearing
-
At home, keep your piece in the reusable bracelet box provided.
-
On the go, use the accompanying cotton pouch to protect it from scratches or contact with sharp objects.
A Final Thought — Mindful Wear
Many of our designs are inspired by the materials of the Tibetan plateau—brass touched with gold, turquoise like high-altitude skies, coral warm as flame. These materials respond to touch, temperature, and the rhythm of your life.
Care for them gently, and they will age with grace-developing a patina that reflects not only time, but your own path.
